At Step Consulting, we understand that our clients' greatest assets are its people. Through our extensive network of contacts in the semiconductor and wireless industries, we are able to recruit the best candidates to meet our clients' specific hiring needs. As such, we can offer a great deal of customization and flexibility with regards to search options.
Generally, there are two types of searches that we conduct: Contingency or Retained.
Contingency Search
A contingency search is 100% success based and the most commonly used to fill most positions. Fees for this type of search are only paid upon successful placement & hiring of a candidate. The fee structure and contract terms & conditions are based upon industry guidelines in Japan.
Retained Search
A retained search usually requires the client to pay some or all search fees upfront prior to placing the candidate. This type of search is typically used to fill urgent hiring requests, executive level positions, niche positions or other special searches. Fee Structure
Fees for our search & recruiting services are based upon a flat fee assessed as a percentage of the candidate's first year total compensation package. Depending upon the search type, these fees can vary slightly.
As a safeguard, a standard refund period is established to ensure the candidate and the client are both happy with their respective choices to work together. HR SERVICES
Outplacement Programs
In addition to our recruiting services, we also offer Outplacement Services on a limited basis depending upon our clients' needs. Typically, early retirement or downsizing programs can leave a number of workers with limited post-employment options. Step Consulting will work with your HR department to provide additional,
focused outplacement services to those employees in an effort to promote a smooth transition to alternative career opportunities.
Compensation & Industry Research
As an integrated service to HR professionals, we can provide current information & research on compensation trends within a particular industry, executive compensation guidelines and other valuable data that may be used to construct or revise local compensation plans--bonus structures, stock option plans and other benefits.
