An international company is looking for Solution Sales Mgr!
Company Description
A dynamic international company with a product portfolio spanning both wireless and wireline network equipment, the company encompasses six business units: broadband access, IP transport, operation support systems, radio access, service core and applications, and services.
Responsibilities
* The Operation Support Systems (OSS) Solution Sales Manager (SSM) needs to understand the customer’s environment and processes in the area of Network Management.
* Maintain intimate customer contacts and visit customers frequently to detect the network operator's challenges in this field.
* Propose a solution and cure to the customer's challenges.
* Actively market this solution to the customer in coordination with the customer account team.
* In the bidding process the OSS SSM is responsible for technically defining the right OSS solution for the identified opportunity.
* Select the functionality and prepare the bill of quantity including the applicable list pricing.
* Match customer needs with company's products/systems/services and translate technical solutions to clear customer value and benefits.
* Define and document technical customer solution, respond to technical parts of tenders, and prepare solution pricing.
* Arrange technical customer workshops, and participate negotiations
* Can assume the role of Bid Manager in case nominated by the Head of Solution Sales.
* Configuration of network elements for tendering, contracting and implementation.
Requirements
* Excellent OSS domain understanding
* Understanding of operator processes in the OSS area
* Ability to create and end to end OSS solutions
* Understand customer environment and needs, and identify related business opportunities
* Value based argumentation experience.
Preferred Experience
* Good overall technical understanding of telecommunications
