Responsibilities

A Software Engineer in this position has the following roles to fulfill: managing integration and configuration and deployment of Enterprise products, providing technical support for newly developed products and provide software engineering skills to the company's Enterprise product line developments.

* Work with internal and external teams worldwide to ensure success of enterprise integration projects.
* Manage enterprise system integration team for specific customer deployments.
* Day-to-day interaction with customer engineers regarding issues.
* Work on-site with customers in global offices or customer facilities as needed.
* Use e-support database to track and manage global customer issues and research similar cases.
* Create generalized "Solutions" to specific problems for use by other engineers in the Worldwide Support organization and by customers.
* Review and analyze internal and/or customer source code and trace output to isolate problems.
* Escalate technical issues within the global Support organization or to internal Development as appropriate and act as intermediary with customer.
* File bugs in the Development bug database when research indicates a problem in the code.
* Escalate significant("hot") customer problems to global support management promptly.
* Understanding of the interface between the company and headend infrastructure systems; developing tests to validate interface functions that customers will be creating
* Execute validation tests to ensure proper end-to-end system configuration

Requirements

* Have good project management experience and skills
* Good IT (Network, servers) knowledge as well as network management (SNMP)
* Be familiar with Unix/Linux and any other server operating system
* DB
* Have experience with software development
* Good knowledge of LAN/WAN, HTTP, HTML, TCP/IP, UDP, etc.
* Have experience doing server and network installation
* More than 8 years experience in IT industry.
* English communication skills is required

Preferred Experience

* Some knowledge of Oracle
